The non-woven counterpart to the STRATA woven family (StrataTex HSR high-strength reinforcement). Supplied in Malaysia by Starwall Sdn Bhd (sole STRATA Geosystems Asia distributor). What non-woven geotextile does.

| Separation | Prevents migration of fines from soft subgrade into overlying granular layers. Maintains structural integrity of the engineered course above. Standard at the subgrade-to-sub-base interface on weak or variable Malaysian residual soils. |
| Filtration | Permits free water flow while retaining soil particles. Prevents washout of fines from drainage systems and embankment toes. Wraps drainage gravel in French drains, behind chimney drains, around perforated pipe. |
| Drainage | In-plane water flow through the geotextile thickness. Supports lateral drainage in landfill caps, behind retaining walls, in blanket drains. |
| Soil stabilisation | Tensile reinforcement at the soil-aggregate interface controlling rutting on weak subgrade under construction or operational loading. |
| Protection | Cushioning layer protecting geomembranes, pipes, and other geosynthetics from puncture by underlying or overlying angular material. Standard above and below HDPE liner in landfill engineering. |
Applications

- Retaining wall backfill. Vertical filter behind drainage gravel or chimney drain.
- Slope drainage works. Blanket drain wrap, surface drainage, French drain wrap.
- Landfill engineering. Protection layer above and below geomembrane liner.
- Pipe trench wrap. Protection of perforated drainage pipe and gravel filter.
