Build geotechnical engineering in Malaysia.

Infraconcrete is hiring across engineering, site, commercial, safety, and trade functions. Specialist slope and geotechnical contractor, CIDB G7 (highest grade), ISO 9001:2015. Federal references: EKVE, ECRL Section 3, Central Spine Road, Pan Borneo. Smaller in-house teams mean engineers see the full design-to-installation cycle, not just one slice. Office in Damansara Jaya, Petaling Jaya. Site rotations across Klang Valley plus project-specific deployments to Pahang, Penang, Johor, Sabah, Sarawak.

01 / Why work here

What makes Infraconcrete different.

Federal-grade projects

EKVE (450,000 m² of slope protected), ECRL Section 3 (320,000 m of drilled drainage on a 64 km rail alignment), Central Spine Road (65,000 m² of integrated slope works), Pan Borneo Highway. The kind of engineering scope that builds a real CV.

End-to-end visibility

No subcontracting on the geotechnical specialist scope. The same engineer who reviewed the design watches the drill go in, sees the grout cube tests, signs off the pull-out test report. Engineers leave Infraconcrete with full-stack geotechnical experience, not just one trade slice.

Standards-native

BS / EN / Eurocode / FHWA / AASHTO / ACI / JKR fluent on every project. You learn to read and apply the actual standards, not just follow templates.

CIDB G7 + ISO 9001:2015

Highest CIDB grade. Federal panel registered. ISO 9001:2015 quality framework on every project regardless of size. Your CV gets the credibility of a tier-1 specialist contractor.

Group support

Part of the Panthera Group. Sister company Starwall Sdn Bhd is the sole STRATA Geosystems Malaysia distributor. You get exposure to both the contracting and the geosynthetic supply side, useful if your career interest spans both.

Engineering ownership culture

We hire engineers who want to own design intent, not just execute it. Site engineers are encouraged to challenge the consultant's spec where field conditions warrant. Founders are engineers; technical discussion happens at the top.

Klang Valley base, MY-wide deployment

Office-based roles work from PJ. Site-based roles rotate through Klang Valley projects plus periodic 1 to 4 week deployments to ECRL alignments, Pan Borneo corridor, hill-station works (Genting, Cameron), and federal expressway scopes outside KL. Travel allowance, accommodation, and rotation schedule per project.

Professional development sponsored

BEM Graduate Engineer registration, IEM membership, CIDB Green Card, ACI CP-60 nozzleman certification, IRATA rope-access, safety qualifications all supported by the company.

03 / How to apply

The application process.

1. Send your CV

Email ifrconcrete@gmail.com with subject line containing the role of interest (e.g. "Site Engineer Application") plus a brief cover note (1-2 paragraphs on why you want to work at Infraconcrete and what you can bring). Or WhatsApp +60 16-428 1214.

2. Initial acknowledgement (within 3 working days)

HR / hiring manager acknowledges your application and confirms next steps. If the role is currently open and your CV aligns, you'll be invited to a phone screen.

3. Phone screen (30 min)

Initial conversation about your background, why Infraconcrete, what role you're interested in, salary expectations, notice period. Mostly fit conversation.

4. Technical interview (45-60 min)

Role-specific deep dive. For engineering roles: technical discussion on slope stability, retaining wall design, or construction method (depending on role). For trades: practical capability assessment. For commercial: contract / claims walkthrough. For HSE: HIRARC and safety scenario discussion.

5. Final interview with founders (45 min)

Conversation with the founders. Fit, values, growth direction, expectations on both sides. Salary and package finalised here.

6. Offer letter (within 1 week)

Written offer with role, salary, benefits, reporting line, start date, probation, professional-development sponsorship details. Sign and return.

What to include in your CV: employment history with project names where relevant, qualifications, certifications, language fluency (Bahasa Malaysia / English / Mandarin / Tamil), software skills (CAD, geotechnical software, MS Project, MS Office), any portfolio of project photos or design samples.

04 / What we look for

Across all roles.

Engineering integrity

You take responsibility for what you stamp. You raise concerns when site conditions don't match the design. You read the actual BS / EN / FHWA / JKR standards rather than relying on hearsay. You document your work so a stranger could rebuild it from your records.

Pace and grit

Geotechnical site work is physical, monsoon-affected, schedule-pressured, and sometimes emergency-deployed (post-landslide call-outs). We hire people who can deliver under those conditions without losing engineering rigour.

Communication discipline

Consultant interface, client reporting, authority submission, internal handoff all need clear written and verbal communication. English (technical) is the working language; Bahasa Malaysia is useful site-side. Documentation matters.

Care for safety and quality

Geotechnical works have real safety risks (working at height, drilling, grouting, live traffic). ISO 9001 quality framework requires document discipline. People who treat safety and QA as optional don't last here.
