What we install on highway alignments.

Cut slope reinforcement

Soil nailing + shotcrete face on tropical-soil cut slopes. Class III/IV per JKR. Drape mesh and rock bolt where rock-mass conditions warrant. Standard package on every cut between hill country and the carriageway.

Rockfall protection

Energy-rated flexible barriers 100-5000 kJ per ETAG 027 / EAD 340059. Drape mesh on near-vertical rock faces. Dynamic netting on active fall sources. Standard above tunnel portals and high-cliff alignments.

MSE walls & bridge abutments

StrataWall (precast panel face) + StrataGrid PET reinforcement for embankment retention and bridge abutments. Heights 8-25 m. Faster and ~30-50% cheaper than RC cantilever above 8 m.

Reinforced soil slopes (RSS)

StrataSlope at 30°-70° face angle with vegetatable face. For widening cuts where ROW allows a sloped face cheaper than vertical wall. StrataGrid layered into engineered fill.

Horizontal drains

Drilled subsurface drains lowering groundwater table. Often the single most effective FoS gain when groundwater drives slope distress. Standard tool on Pahang / Cameron highland alignments.

Basal reinforcement on soft ground

StrataTex HSR woven (PET) basal mat below embankment fill on soft alluvium / peat. Common on coastal and lowland highway approaches. Prevents bearing failure and lateral spread.

03 / Live-traffic phasing

How we work without closing the road.

01

TMP approval

Traffic management plan agreed with concessionaire / LLM / JKR. Lane closures phased to off-peak windows. Variable message signs, advance warnings, and contraflow where required.

02

Compact-access plant

Narrow soil-nail rigs that fit in shoulder + one lane. Rope-access crews for upper-tier slopes where rig access is impossible. Mast climbers / scaffolds on cut faces.

03

Night-shift production

Most production work at night when traffic volume drops 60-70%. Daytime reserved for inspections, deliveries, and crew rotation.

04

Continuous monitoring

Slope monitoring during works (inclinometer, surface markers) plus traffic-side rockfall debris check at each shift change. Stop-work triggers documented in HSE plan.

05

Reopening & commissioning

As-built records, manufacturer certificates of conformance for STRATA geosynthetics, NDT reports for shotcrete cores, defect-liability commencement. Submitted to concessionaire engineer.

04 / Standards & concessionaire compliance

Specs every highway corridor uses.
