StrataGrid uniaxial PET (polyester)
Tensile strengths 30 kN/m to 1000 kN/m. PVC-coated PET filaments for chemical and biological durability. Used for MSE wall reinforcement, reinforced soil slope (RSS) reinforcement, basal reinforcement on soft ground, and segmental retaining wall (SRW) construction. Biaxial PP (polypropylene)
Tensile strengths 20 to 40 kN/m, equal in machine and cross-machine directions. Apertures 30 to 50 mm typical for granular interlock with crushed aggregate. Used for road base reinforcement (reduces sub-base thickness over weak subgrade per AASHTO + Giroud-Han 2004 methodology), working platform over soft ground, sub-base stabilisation. Aggregate savings 20 to 50 percent typical on CBR 1 to 3 subgrades.
Triaxial PP (polypropylene)
Advanced punched-and-drawn PP geogrid with three-direction load transfer (triangular aperture geometry vs the square biaxial pattern). Higher stiffness at low strain, used in critical road and rail subgrade applications, working platforms for heavy cyclic loading, and where standard biaxial does not deliver sufficient confinement.

Most geogrid buyers in Malaysia source through spot-market traders who pick up rolls from whichever manufacturer has cheapest stock that month. Three risks. Traceability: mixed-mill stock means no batch traceability and no manufacturer warranty if a roll fails junction strength or pullout in the consultant audit. Spec drift: nominally identical SKUs from different mills can differ significantly on creep, junction strength, and durability reduction factors, breaking the consultant's design assumptions.
